Half a billion. Why? Because if I have an employee who hasn't given me a reason to distrust them, it'll save me time and effort than having to go through a stack of resumes. Understand that if I'm a hiring manager and I need to fill a position, I would MUCH rather hire from a pool of referrals over faceless resumes. "You're telling me that everyone who only applies to jobs through the online application process is fighting for the last 15%?" Yes, pretty much. And trust me, there are a SIGNIFICANT number of recruiters who use LinkedIn and ONLY LinkedIn exclusively.Ĩ5% - The number of jobs filled through networking? That's right, 85%. ![]() I'm making this post because a lot of you are frustrated at the job application process, and I want to try my best to make it easier for you.ĩ0% - That's how many recruiters use LinkedIn as a part of their hiring process. I'm a long time lurker on this sub and although some of you have used LinkedIn to great success in the past, there are still quite a few people who aren't fans. I just know how valuable it is as a tool for job seekers after working on the HR and recruiting side of things for the past few years. ![]()
